I use a SanDisk extreme, but it is a 32gb, so no fat / exfat issues.

No issue here. I believe mine is a fairly recent Samsung 64GB.

I'm using SanDisk Evo+ 128gb SDXC. Card was formatted on Windows 10, ex-fat (quick). No issues here but I was on the June update prior to installing the card. It seems unmounting/corruption issues with the SD card regardless of size or brand may be linked to keyone devices not on the latest update. There is a big thread on this in the keyone support forums.

Lexar 64GB moved over from my Priv. The only issue I had was Google Photos not allowing me to delete photos after moving it over to the KEYone. A simple reinstall of Photos fixed it.

So you formatted on the PC and not on the phone?

I wish. I had to return mine to BB today, and wait for another to ship.

    SanDisk Ultra 200GB. no issues.

popped it in, let the KeyOne format it for file/additional storage - not portable media storage - and no issues.

there was a notification early on that it was unmounted or something, but it was not. it worked fine. the OS update saw that erroneous notification disappear

I have said it in other threads, and I will say it again, more than likely it is the card itself. I find that if the card is purchased online, even legit retailers have trouble determining if a card is authentic or counterfeit. Some phones don't have issues with the counterfeit cards, while others do. Even in the phones that seem to be okay with them, usually experience issues once the cards start to get to their "capacity" limits.

I recommend backing up the data on the card in a safe location, then using your computer format the card, and put it through a few SD card testers to test the read/write speeds. Next take some very large files and see if you can store files up to the max capacity of the card from your computer. If your read/write speeds are not consistent or close to the manufacturer specs and/or if you are unable to fill the card and then open the files on the card, then you more than likely got a counterfeit card (or maybe an authentic, defective card?).

Its not easy to spot a fake. Usually the only way to find out for sure is to do the actual tests. Here is a pic of a real and a fake put side by side (the one on the left is the counterfeit):

Samsung 64gb Evo. I am in the business... Samsung builds a quality product and is more aggressive than SanDisk with counterfeiters.

I've, at one point, went through three SanDisk cards in less than a month. Each corrupting and becoming unreadable in any device or computer. I now use Samsung and their cards have been great. Haven't had to replace one, except to upgrade size.

I've never had an issue with SanDisk. Maybe I'm just lucky with that. Just my experience. I don't have a keyone but have had blackberry.
