We can't all the support, defend or whatever. Like I said before all opinions are valid. A so called inspection of a display device not conclusive enough to reach conlusions. When I was at MWC2017 all devices where secured by cables and reviewers professional ones that is all said...when we have device in hand we will publish final conclusion. Anything before that is inconclusive .
That's the point you throw away rhe op because you think it has no value. To disagree is one thing to discount because it does not meet your level is another thing completely
I'll take an optimistic look after this jousting that's going on. OP stated that the KEYᵒⁿᵉ was sub-par on levels of concern to him but he's going to buy it anyway. Have a great weekend everyone!
No offense, but I'd hardly take a recommendation from someone who played around with a store demo attached to a vertical display over those who actually have it and use it daily. And neither the employees not knowing about the phone, nor the quantity they have on hand, have anything to do with phone quality.

Agreed! Playing with the demo model and using it as a daily driver are two different realities.
I've had mine for a month and my wife is waiting for hers to replace her DTEK60.
I was lucky enough to win mine at the Crackberry Meet so it's Telus here in Vancouver that's holding up her purchase as they have nothing in stock and don't know when the new production batch arrives.
She can't believe the day and night differences between the two in terms of battery life.
Mine (cdma ) came 2 days ago from Amazon. After using the too little keyboard for almost 2 days, I sent it back. I prefer the "classic " size keys and the virtual keyboard of my priv. Great phone otherwise but I will wait for the next BB from TCL.
Pity you had to demo a "less than perfect" device. In my case, I pre-ordered without any demo from my local carrier. When the K1 arrived, it was fantastic with no problems. Hope you can demo better K1 in the future.
