A few things I like about the Mercury are:

1) It has a keyboard
2) Keyboard layout
3) Integrated trackpad in Keyboard
4) Integrated fingerprint reader in space bar (Love it!)

Now,...morph these features into Passport 3.0 and I'm there!! May as well include the following:

1) Larger screen on PP 3.0 - Increased by .5" to 1" taller
2) 4Gigs of RAM
3) Larger battery,...5000mah
4) BB 10 version,...Android version!
5) Better camera,...Better Camera,...Better CAMERA,...BETTER CAMERA!

I know,...I know,...it won't happen!,...Hence the reason I've probably bought my last Blackberry!

3.0.... SE was really a Passport 1.25.

Simply is not a place in the Android world for a 1x1 screen ratio.... But it 's good you like the Mercury, how at MWC they tell us more about the 2nd device. Will it be another PKB device or a yearly update for one of the existing DTEK's... to all BlackBerry to remove themselves from selling any products?

What do you mean switch TO Verizon? We don't even know if it will be available ON Verizon.

As for the screen size... both are 4.5" diagonal.

Passport has a 10.125 square inch:

x^2 + x^2 = 4.5^2
x^2 = 10.125

Mercury has a 3:2 screen, 9.346 square inch:

(3x)^2 + (2x)^2 = 4.5^2
6x^2 = 9.346

It is smaller, but not by that much.
