Hi,
I guess this is an issue with all android os based phones.
Saving numbers and keep getting duplicates because what's app creates a contact as well.

Use the Duplicates item from the menu in the upper left corner.
There should be plenty of tips around that on Priv and DTek forums.
To start with make sure you have Account Sync done only via BlackBerry Hub and not through other apps like Google
You can so try by unsyncing the contacts by removing the email account and then add it back.
A quick search game me this from Priv forum https://www.google.com.au/amp/forums...1054507/%3Famp
Duplicates function stopped working for me. Only had K1 for 1.5 days!
Absolutely perfect!
Solved it in seconds
I got mine yesterday and there's an update available already. I'll have to wait to get home to do.
Your issue might be to do with that?
Thank you by the way
You mean update to the Contacts app?
To update the whole OS. I'm guessing it's a security patch.
You have to Link each contact one at a time it seems!
I just use my Gmail contacts only to view.
It looks like Whatsapp etc also show their own separately.
The linking feature seems to be working OK on my device. Solves the problem
Is this function available for the Passport as well?
No idea, this is a K1 thread so you may want to head on over to the Passport forums.
Thank you!
I prob have 3000 real Contacts. because of bbry transfer software deficiency, my device is showing 23000+ contacts. ugh, grrr.
Something similar is going on w calendar events. I am now seeing event is triplicate.
I doubt iPhone customers have these problems.
Do you sync with an email service? Do you possibly sync with more than one service?
