The double tape to wake function is something already enabled on this phone, right? Or is there a setting that I have to change to enable? I can't seem to find a setting for it. Mine isn't working at all so I was just wondering if I was missing something. I don't remember enabling it for my Priv.

    Thanks for any help!

    p.s.

I haven't tried the double tap in sunlight it seems like that's another issue people are having with it. I am just trying to simply get it to work indoors.

And it doesn't function as expected in bright sunlight. Just tap the power button once to wake.

Glad with the coming hurricane that I have something that holds a charge for a while.

If you've had an lg comes naturally to tap the screen. Double pressing the spacebar unlocks too (if using fingerprint)

Hmmmmm! Perhaps my reading comprehension skills have eroded, but I believe that we are in the BlackBerry KEYone forum, not LG.

It just reacts to your fingerprint and unlocks the device, no need for double tapping

Though I searched to see if there's any thread already created on the "Double tap" (on the screen) issue, and apparently this is the one. The function is unreliable, as stated above. Hope to see it solved soon :?

Has double tap to wake always been an option in the KEYone?
I don't remember it from my original model?
I know other Android's have it - I love the feature.

You will have to forgive Mr. Abrasive. True to his namesake, he was being abrasive not rude. It's the hat.

Sorry, but are there any new observations: it seems the case is simply not able to get the double tap still right as soon as the Keyone fell into sleep. This is really a pity. Also the update to Oreo hasn't helped either, right ? :-(

double tap bug in bright sunlight will never be fixed if not with oreo. I contacted support over a year ago on this issue and even got a ticket and talked to them. They said it's a known issue and that they will investigate it. Yet they did nothing about it. 1 year later, newer K1 Black Edition and it's still the same
