It's because of all the productivity you gain with a BB. "Tools not toys." So with all that, people are making so much $$$ that only their mortal underlings really use the .....

Please remember that the period is inserted by a double tap on the space bar. That covers probably 90+% of the use of a period.

Yes i know that but i use alot of commas and periods (,.) cause i write alot of financials numbers in mail, texts etc so a space bar dubble tap doesnt work for me and many others. But i soppose thats why they dont have fysical key for the period sign.

I use the dollar sign all day in emails so for some it's a important key to have.

Agree, it would make more sense for the period to be a dedicated key and the $ to be an alt key where the period is.

Yes, I want a COMMA key. Hitting the alt is not efficient. Of course, I'm still waiting for the Question Mark to also be a one hit key!
