I had my back damaged, so I ordered one and replaced it myself.

When I open the old one, there were two sticky tapes inside. So it should not be easily taken off like old phones.

The new back cover cannot fully be clipped in, so I have to use glue to close the gap around a corner.

What you need to do is hold the phone so that you are looking at the side where the back cover is lifting and find the popped clip. Then just use a thin instrument such as a guitar pick and push against it lightly while pushing the back cover back into place. Try it and report back.
