Does anyone else have their Keyone lag several all day long? I'm about to get my Note 1 out and use it instead.
Nope, mine running just fine. Have my Samsung Gear S3 pared with it all day with no issues.
mine is working very well.
My AT&T KEYone isn’t experiencing any lag. Perhaps it’s unique to your device.
Clear cache?
32-sec reboot?
Factory reset?
Mine was lagging badly as well. I did a factory reset, and didn't re-install the Facebook App, and now it's running like when I first bought it
did a FR, going to see how it goes now
When you reinstall your apps, make sure that no app requires Accessibility Service and if any of them do, do not grant it.
If they do, is that under App Permissions? I'm double checking right now that none have that option.
If you have any you will see them listed under Settings \ Accessibility
Ah OK. Device Help is the only one there but I have that app disabled already.
I am having trouble with email only updating every 10-12 hours. Then it will come thru at once. Very frustrating. Anybody else having this kind of issue.
Change sync time to 5 minutes.
I will try that - thx (5 minute sync). But when I finally figured out where to check that it was set on every 15 minutes. so I don't think that's the issue but will give it a try.
After that, you can try deleting and adding back the email account.
This is what I had to do about a month ago
No, no issues at all.
My K1 lags. If I have a lot open, it lags. If I use google maps, it lags. Overall specs are on the light side, which is why it lags. I'm also constantly pounding away at emails, texts, social media, etc... - all of which use resources. If I use my K1 lightly sometimes on weekends, it doesn't lag. However, this is rare.
Ok. Thx. Going to try that now.
@tommyboy I am assuming you have the 3GB RAM version of KeyOne. Be aware that Android runs various apps on your phone in the background. In addition, it may be downloading updates to existing apps in the background. The processes in the background hog your resources that ultimately slows your phone down. You can set apps to not run in the background. Look at the internet for how to do that. Also, I have an app called Avast Cleanup it has a option to Hibernate apps and clear cache that will speed up your phone. Hope this helps you out.
