try out the app called 'swipe up utility'. You can assign the longpress of the homebutton to open the hub instead of google assistant:

I'm using this on my PRIV but the swipe from bottom edge doesn't work as the swipe shortcuts are there. Does this work on the KEYone?

That is a bummer because I use this feature on the Priv all the time. I am sure they will incorporate it at some point...I hope.

Using the app, yes, it works on my K1. I also hope BB Mobile is aware that a swipe on the fingerprint sensor to pull down the notification shade would be awesome. I use this feature a lot on my Pixel XL.

For fingerprint actions try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...gerprint2sleep

The only downside is that the fingerprint sidelights will light up if you can use it

Thanks for the suggestion! However, having the spacebar lights blinking all the time is a deal breaker. Let's all hope BlackBerry will implement this gesture sooner rather than later.

    Negative.
Keyboard shortcuts don't work from anywhere in the phone. The Swipe shortcuts work from anywhere.

Use the launch box functionality on the swipe up utility app. Works brilliantly and u can add multiple actions and apps. Been using it even when I had the priv and dtek60.
