    after the passport, to what extent might one feel any similarity in experience Hardware wise with the KEYᵒⁿᵉ with special emphasis on the screen and PKB... a potential pre-purchase query...

    The width of the BB Passport was an issue for some folks! People were reporting having to get use to the thumb motion going farther to the right/left. The Kb in the K1 is amazing and you could type with one hand! The Kb is awesome because your able to hard/soft key direct set each key to access anything you want! That's one of the best features of the new Kb on the K1. You'll love it seriously!!!🤗

    Its not a dumb question at all. Having the nav keys light up helps the user in low light situations.

    yup you can type with one hand but the shortcut keys don't really let you access anything that you want.. I mean there are functions that can't can't be accessed with shortcut..

    having said that, the ability to type without looking at the keyboard and the flick up to select the predictive text is definitely great!

    That's the exact phone I was thinking of! Not the worst phone if you stick a custom rom on it. 4Gb of ram was a nice surprise for the time it was released
