How come BlackBerry phones regarded high end phones?
I only see mid range specs phones and they are no longer making touchscreen phones!
If they consider BlackBerry brand for their high end devices, they should have released devices like Z30, Passport, and Priv.

The slide showing BlackBerry as a high end and TCL as mid-range seems new. Maybe the slide just represents the Australian market where the BlackBerry phones are very expensive.

The original BlackBerry strategy was to supply midrange devices that would be above the Alcatel entry line.

The only way for BlackBerry to be above TCL in the pecking order is based the philosophy and economics of a niche product.

Smart move by TCL . The TCL brand might get some USA carrier support if high tariffs can be avoided.

Considering there are keyones being updated well beyond the April patch already i wouldnt believe much from this source. I assume Pie will come this summer to the Key2 series

Actually the keyone is being updated or mostly AT&T USA and those constitute updates that are gated late but hashing by the vendor of old stuff

Yeah it might be.... Let's face it, TCL doesn't make anything really premium right now.

Kinda hoped with all the talk of them working on foldable screens that might change... but I think it's more the screen division that's part of the TCL family and not TCL Mobile that working on those. They apparently sell screens to a lot of other companies...
