If you have Tap to Wake enabled try turning it off and see what happens...

I have been having the same issue with my KEYone. Ambient display is turned off. When it does come on its just the sleep screen (Not the home screen that shows all your apps) and the space bar leds lights will be flickering.

Report back later to confirm that turning it off has solved the screen issue.. If it has the only suggestion I have would be a factory reset. I'd suggest getting used to not using the double tap....

Use that to wake your phone... you could even set it up to recognize a big toe or little toe... :-)

Actually when you think about it, a double tap is more energy intensive than just putting a finger on the fingerprint sensor.

I use the tap to put the phone to sleep. Use the finger print scanner to wake.

You can put the "lock" shortcut on your home screen to put it to sleep, it's one less tap XD (I'm not sure how that shortcut translates to English, but it's the one with a green background and a white padlock).

There are apps that can cause this.

For example Snapchat, I believe that even if you completely disable notifications for that app, if say someone sends you a message or a snap, the display will light up for a few seconds.

The solution is pretty easy, just disable the double tap to switch on the screen and that's it!

Not so simple if you happen to like that feature.

That's it. Though I love that double tap to wake feature, I turned it off:

Now, the screen does not wake up randomly any longer.

    Thanks for your help guys
