Saw a thread over on Reddit, but figured I'd expand on the thought process.

Given the recent activity surrounding rumors about this device... we're generally looking at same specs as MOTO Z Play, except instead of a 5.5' screen it's most likely going to have something like a 4.5' screen....

If they're smart they wont do 4.5' at 1080p, rather 720p instead... honestly who needs 1080p at 4.5".... but i digress... even 4.5" at 1080p is still pretty sick

given the fact that MOTO Z Play has been praised by reviewers for having insane battery life... some even claim 2 days ... with 8 hours screen on time... could you imagine the sick-nasty battery life on this thing given the downsize of the screen and (hopefully) the resolution to 720p?

4 day battery life if not more?? 16+hours screen on time???

PS. blackberry.... you have one job..... keep your android layer as optimized as possible so it doesn't drain battery... one job...

i would guess changing the # of pixels the chip has to push would directly impact battery life... but it would have to be a combination of a smaller screen size, and lower resolution...and software optimization...

Also have to note that if mercury has the 625 chip, it will get much longer expected battery life than the priv.

FYI , I get about 4-5 SOT always with the priv.
