I bought a new keyone when I crash my old, my old has the production date 090517 and my new 110617, notice a significant difference when both mobiles are down since the new one is significantly lower.

Led is same, The only difference is the camera lens that looks different and is not as thick.
Were in touch with Clove in England and they have confirmed that keyone with date 110671 and beyond is the updated model. Have also tried to bend the cell phone and no screen comes loose.

Is there any other change/improvement on the new device? Like even keyboard lighting etc. No squeeking etc? Solid volume buttons?

No not i can see; But my new device i have no problem whit losses buttons or squeeking, i get a perfect unit

One thing is better adhesive for the screen or even other small parts like keyboard keys, but a slimmer model? !!!

The whole process would require redesign and reengineering. How's that possible?

But I still didnt notice any difference from the pictures, because the only angle that would show the difference is missing

There's a marginal angular difference in the first. Perfectly possible that this is a slight amendment following several reports of the camera glass shattering.

Indeed, the angle that would show the difference is missing + the on the one from the right you can see that the PC keyboard behind the phone reflects while on the left one it doesn't, that may also be why the phone looks lower/slimmer.
The best test would be to put them on a ruler or something narrow so that the camera bump doesn't touch the surface and compare them that way as both will be on the exact same lvl and the camera bump will be in mid air.

when you say camera ring, are you referring to the uneven resting of the camera on a table because of the ring around the lens? is the new on different?

Nothing out of the ordinary - this happens.

The device tends to get better built later on than the earlier batches.
