Hi! Got my KEYone today. I love it. My thumbs are slightly sore.

    I have three questions:

    1. How do I restrict all background data? If I can't, how exactly does data saver work? I notice I still received updates from SnapChat while in another data consuming app.

    2. Is it normal for the phone to heat up playing certain games? Specifically, Huuuge Casino? The top left corner of the phone got pretty warm (is in a plastic case).

    3. And lastly... there's a pretty large separation from the top of the screen and the aluminum frame. Normal? The glass is set noticeably lower than the frame.

    Thank you for all support!

You could enter Airplane Mode (Swipe down with two fingers and tap the airplane mode option). If you want other radios to work you could turn them on individually.

Games and other apps might use a lot of power and heat up.

The screen should not be showing separation. There are a number of threads including a Mega Thread on the screen issues. Be careful. If it suddenly drops off, it can tear the screen cable. Warranty repair would be necessary even before it breaks entirely.

Do yourself a favour, backup every bit of important data in your phone, and then contact BBMobile, as it sounds like sooner or later your display will fallout, as it already has for more than 135 people in this forum alone.

This is just sad how many Keyones are falling apart for people. BlackBerry ought to be ashamed of themselves. They delayed it so many months, seemingly to make it perfect, and it's ended up one of the biggest failures and disasters in smartphone history.

BlackBerry Limited is not responsible for manufacturing the BlackBerry KEYone. The smartphone is made by BlackBerry Mobile, a division of TCL. CrackBerry should have been on top of this issue months ago by creating a form so people could report the outlet wireless carrier and country where these defective smartphones have been bought. Then the results could be analyzed for any discernible pattern(s).

I'm going to answer these in reverse:
    1. If there's defects, look into replacing it. You can worry about the other two questions afterwards.
    2. Devices normally heat up with intensive software; the Snapdragon 625 in the KEYone can handle games for the most part but its going to work much harder than its 8-series counterparts.
    3. Go to Settings -> Data Usage, turn on "Limit mobile data usage". You may have an option such as Data Saver via the menu in the top right, see screenshots below.

As big a failure as the Note 7? Lol Seriously, thought they were going to sort out these issues.
