Is there a trick to getting the PASTE option to show up. I was trying to move a word (that I already cut) to another location in the sentence but couldn't get the paste "bubble" to show up. (I just did enable the Rt shift to be Ctrl and use Ctrl-V) but what is the trick to getting PASTE to show as an option after I've placed the cursor where I want it (without using the shift key)?

Also, maybe too many changes - but I know that I've also seen a set of icons show up along the bottom of the screen that seem to be EDITING functions. How do I trigger that?

With my cursor placed here in the reply section, the 3 horizontal lines show up at the bottom left. I click on them and options show up. All the way to the right along the bottom is a clip board icon. Tap on it and it opens to where you will see the things you have copied or cut. Then tap on the one you want to paste. These are done by touching on the touch screen. There is probably a way to do it all with keys but I haven't done it because the way I have described it works well for me so I didn't pursue learning it. I would be glad to know, though.

Also, I you click on the ABC icon the tools open seen in the graphic below. I haven't used them much but I think they are precise and useful for cut and past projects.

Now to try remembering to find/use them. Although, this screen disappears rather quickly as I was trying it out.

As a previous poster stated, you can set one of the arrows keys as an ALT key, which then works just like a normal keyboard shortcut, so you can copy ALT+C and paste ALT+V without ever having to get the copy or past dialog box up. To highlight text in the first place, just hold down the left shift key (I set my right to ALT) and swipe the keyboard and it will highlight the word which you can then copy with ALT+C

This is the stuff that absolutely makes me want to use my KEYone, because editing on my favorite input device (the Z10) has never been great. There's a learning curve here, to be sure, in terms of becoming fluent with the editing functions, but it seems well worth the effort.

Now I just need to find a very clean text editor that doesn't have all the Android controls in the window. Clutter annoys me when writing, and I have become addicted to the pristine editing windows in BB10.

I was after ctrl-c/x/v - works beautifully with right shift key. Thanks!
