For some reason when I try to connect my Keyone to a (newer usb-c) Macbook via direct usb-c to usb-c cable, nothing happens: No charging, no data transfer. Doesn't detect it at all. I've tried different cables, and on both OSX and Windows 10 (bootcamp).
Anyone has an idea what the issue is here?

Same on my macbook pro 2016 to think of it. It did charge through a usb.c to usb dongle.
Try different cables. I had the same issue but one of my cables (a very short one) worked.
Do you have android file transfer installed?
Yeah, I was also able to connect it via a usb hub/dongle, but not directly.
@neil74 I do have android file transfer installed. I've tried two different cables. The only time it works is if I use a usb-hub to connect it.
Btw, which cable worked for you? Do you have a link or the name of the manufacturer or model number of some sorts?
I have a new macbook pro and tried the cable that my old nexus 5X came with (USB C on both ends) and there is no connectivity. Is it possible this will be fixed with a software update for the keyone?
