The new "Nokia" has nothing to do with the Finnish company that once made phones. They were mostly known for their quality hardware, so someone buying the trademark and slapping it onto a generic slab has zero interest from me.
Isn't this a similar case to BlackBerry tho?

I'd like to think so.. Here's hoping that the Mercury be successful.

Yes, somewhat. At least the Merc is an in-house design, and hopefully they will continue to use the BlackBerry hub, security suite, and hardened kernel going forward.

Never thought that BB was gone, actually, I'm surrounded by them at home and work. As to Nokia, I always loved their hardware back in the day but I haven't really given them much thought since I started using BlackBerry in 2008 (I think that's the year).

Anyhow, it's hard to care that they're coming back when I never considered either of them gone.

Funny poll that, especially about BlackBerry.

LG g5 is pretty fast phone but the build quality is cheap. It feels like a dollar store phone with great software...how come some companies get away with making cheap phone by selling it as premium?
