My immediate impression of the KEYone was that the keyboard felt like my Bold 9700 exactly.

    Anyone agree?
I really hope you are right on target. That would be pretty much perfect. Imo.

I hope you're right. That keyboard was great. Best one. I found the Q10 took too much force.

I honestly wouldn't put it on the same level as the 9900. That keyboard with the curve is on it's own level. The Classic only beats it for me because it's much bigger. The KEYone's keyboard is the same width as the Classic, but unfortunately the keys are a little shorter, I guess to keep the overall device height a little shorter. I would have preferred them to have made the keyboard exactly the same, but oh well. I did try typing quickly on it and it still feels pretty natural, and probably won't have a very long learning curve. So I think to equate it to the 9000 is pretty fair, but not the 9900.
    Sigh...

I agree. And I was so happy. Felt like it threw me back in time. Very nostalgic.

I sure can live with that! Top three is podium finish... not bad for their first effort. How long did it take BlackBerry to get to the 9900 keyboard?

The 9900 was the best keyboard imo. Stretch that sucker upwards with the KEYone's screen...now we have something. Having said that, I am enjoying the typing experience on my OG passport. Can't wait to try out the KEYone's though.

It's the best they could do with a phone of that width.... imo

So, compared to the Classic keyboard, is it a bit "softer" on it? I can't remember my 9000. And I find the Classic's keyboard a bit too hard to be honest. Q10 had a great clickiness.

I had both those phones and think the KEYone is much better...
