    Hello, friends!

Given my love for the KeyOne Black Edition, I bought another device--a used one--after selling the first one. But this one is intended for use in China.

I have no complain other than this: the screen of this phone is flickering; I can't type well on it as it sometimes keeps deleting my words and then type others on its own. It is driving me nuts. Could it be because it is a Chinese variant?

I have tried almost everything; I have tried doing factory reset and cleaning the keyboard—all of this with no success. So, I decided to ask for your help. How can I stop the screen from flickering so I can use the phone and type my articles well?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello!

Before I try that, how about using an autoloader? Couldn't this problem be caused by OS build? This KeyOne is still on April build.

Check with Conite if this variant can be updated to the June patch and if it might help. Or just a complete re-load of the OS. 🤞it's not hardware related.

Re-load of the OS? Is this possible? I didn't know that. If this can solve this issue, I'd certainly go for it.

How do I talk to Conite?

Well, that is the latest you can load on your device.

I will make up an autoloader for you to try, but it likely won't be any different from doing a factory reset.

This sounds like a hardware issue.

The only issue is screen flickering. Not a problem with the keyboard. Please help!

A hardware issue can't be fixed right?

Sure. Maybe a screen replacement. You'd have to give it to a repair shop.

You have to judge whether it's worth fixing an almost 3 year old phone.

It is certainly not worth it. Maybe an autoloader.

Here is the link. Download and unzip to PC, boot phone to boatloader screen, plug it in, and run.

Thanks for the help. Will download it. Any problem downloading the file on the phone and then transfer it to my laptop? How do I get to boatloader screen? A simple restart?

Get it to your PC any way you can.

From off, press the power button and the down volume button at the same time to get to the boatloader screen.

It doesn't seem to be related with the capacitive layer; I have turned off the gestures but I see no improvement. Besides, it is the screen flickering, not just the keyboard.

File downloaded! But I am failing to run this autoloader. As I press the power button and the down volume button, I am given some options to choose. When I choose fastboot and click yes by pressing the power button, nothing happens; the autoloader does not run.

I should say I was trying to run the file named flashall. Is this the right one?
