Is there any carrier branding on the phone or at the startup screen when powered on? I always hate when carriers do this and plaster their brand on the phone. Most YouTube videos I've seen don't have any.

Yep, no carrier branding if you buy factory unlocked. My priv is factory unlocked and I have at&t sim and still no logos anywhere in the OS
