    is it possible to"name" text conversations like we could on BB10? Without saving the contact.

    I'm using the regular "android messenger" to view texts.

    Not that I'm aware of. Even Textra, the other popular messenger around here, doesn't have that option.

    You can copy the text(s) you want to save and paste them to Notable or another word processing app, then name the file as you want.

    Why??? OMG... why not?? It's is hands down one of the best features from BB10.... i have a lot of conversations with people I have not saved onto my contacts, that I don't wish to save. People maybe I have had a kijiji sale with, or just temporary conversations about a purchase or service or whatever, things I might have to keep as a reference for a little while, but that dont merit saving the contact. Naming a chat is just 100% useful.

    Then name the contact whatever you wanted to name the chat. :P
