How to encrypt the SD card in keyone?
I believe if your SD card is used as part of internal memory it will be encrypted along with your device. If used as portable memory it's not.
NCA510 is correct, but be careful because once you change it to internal memory, there is no going back. I had to exchange my first KEYone, and instead of just being able to swap my memory card into the new phone, I had to backup everything to my PC, format, and then transfer. For me, encrypting the info wasn't that important, so i just wound up with a huge headache.
It's not like the BB days when you could encrypt/decrypt your card on the fly.
How do you unencrypted the phone?
I may not fully understand the question. Data on the phone remains encrypted but if you have a password, then when it is entered, you can read your data and you can copy all of that data (photos, videos, music, docs, other) to your computer for backup or sharing. But if the phone were lost/stolen, and the new person does not have the password, the data can't be recovered or read.
Having trouble getting my phone to show who is calling me and the network operator said it was because the phone was encrypted, but I guess that was the incorrect info. Phone just suddenly stop display incoming calls IDs. Any advise
Yeah, that definitely seems like a cop-out answer from tech support. Does the ID show up of people who you have saved as contacts? Or do not even those show up?
I would call and have them reprovision caller ID on your phone.
Hi. I just reset my phone to factory settings and all is good now - even WiFi calling.
