Ive set up Tasker to dial a contact upon a key press. However I want to add the condition that it should only trigger on the home screen. Im not an expert so have tried a few things but just can't get it to work.

Using Nova I added if win~home etc but just does not work. If anyone knows how to do this, it will finally enable shortcuts on any launcher!

Have you tried the Application Context?

Yes. Finally managed it with some help from the Tasker creator. I added the application condition to auto input and it worked. So now running short press keyboard shortcuts with Nova finally!

This a great solution! It will be tough for novices to do but anyone who wants to take the time could do this and still have their shortcuts. You mind sharing some more info or pics if possible?
