I can only send emails when I am connected to Wifi. Sprint (the wireless provider) had me update the PRL's. This did not fix it.
Anyone have an answer.

Sounds like you have no data without using WiFi. Sounds like a carrier issue to me.
Another Sim???
Another good possibility but again you have no data have you tried a reboot? Or reset the device? Does it happen everywhere? Phone work?
The phone works fine. I receive emails on WiFi and without WiFi. I have rebooted it multiple times. Reset wireless and WiFi connections.
Do you have Data Saver enabled? I've had trouble with this setting blocking services like mms when wifi is on. I have Sprint and no trouble sending email but have whitelisted Hub etc within Data Saver.
Sounds like maybe an outgoing mail server issue. Most mail servers these days will not let you send mail unless you're connected to their internet and/or using authentication.
So if your outgoing mail server is something other than your carriers and you don't have a user name and password setup for the outgoing mail server, it may not let you send.
Ideally, use user name and password for your mail server and it should work no matter the internet connection. Or use carriers outgoing server but then it will likely only work on data :)

Data saver is off for all email accounts. I will put in the authentication information for each account. Hopefully that fixes it.
I will update all. Thanks you for the suggestions.
I called BlackBerry Support and someone answered rather quickly (pleasant surprise). They reviewed what was done already and had me check a couple settings. After that they gave me a referral number with an ETA or two to three days to get a call back.
In the mean time I'm going to call the second level Sprint tech support to see what they have to say.
Thank you again for the suggestions.

Update. No call back. In additional research I found one solution is to switch from automatic network to CDMA. This has worked for now.
I also found out that this is probable an APN issue. Still checking this out.

I know it's been some time since your post, but I am experiencing the same thing on Sprint. Any final resolution for you that I might learn from? Thanks.
