I keep getting junk calls from a specific number. When I try to block the number I keep getting the message "Invalid Phone Number".

The number looks fine to me.

What is going on here.

You might have to add the number to your contacts list then you will be able to block it. Apologies if you have already tried this without any luck.

I wonder if it is false number, that those scammers use. They "port" their calls through a number of unsuspecting people's phones, and then "bot" a bunch of people, phishing the people. We have a few like that who call regularly. One is a fake contest winning from an airline, and the other is from Revenue Canada (Fake!!!)

I've had this with PPI calls and found the work around: in call log, copy the number, next tap the 3 vertical dots at the top of the screen, in the dropdown menu select settings, then call blocking. you can add the number there and it saves! hope this helps.

Try downloading the app "Mr number" and block it using that app. You can even block all unknown numbers. Just make sure to turn off notifications and call ID cause they do get annoying though.
