I'm currently listening to Spotify (android) while simultaneously writing this on my BlackBerry Classic. There's also a facebook opens on another tile, and Docstogo app as I'm also working on my short story.

Can the K1 do all this at the same time?

Short answer yes, long answer no.

Yes, Android is capable of keeping apps loaded in ram, so you can do a few different tasks at the same time.

Switching between a couple, while listening to music in the background, not a problem.

Not to mention you can also use the built in nougat split screen, and the notification bar to control Spotify, so that's like doing 3 things at once.

However, TCL decided to only include 3gb of ram.

That's not enough. Your apps will close and you will lose your progress. So save often!

Hopefully all the apps you choose use low memory... but better safe than sorry.
