I started the phone and established WiFi connection. After that selected to copy my data and it started endless "Checking for updates". Than I selected "Set up as new" and again it started endless "Checking for updates".
I try these procedures with and without SIM-card, the same - endless "Checking for updates".
Decided that the problem is because I try it in China, but today I found that they sell Blackberry here... Not KEYone, but Blackberry.
So I'd like to thank you in advance for your time and advice if have any!

Try the square onscreen button and hit 'clear all'.
Not sure that will work, as I'm not real familiar with K1 or updates in China, but if there is no skip option on the 'checking' for screen, that's the most likely method to stop it.

K1 user from China here. There's no way to skip the step. You'll have to connect to a network that has access to severs beyond the bloody GFW.
