I'm sure it's the same way as the PRIV. Go to settings, apps tap on app you want to move ( must be a big app) tap storage and pick move to sd.
Sorry but newer versions of Android don't allow moving and running apps from the SD Card. You can "adopt" the SD Card and make it the virtual internal storage. It will make it non removable, and has other "issues" to consider.
So it s not possible? What you say about newer versions of Android is not true. On Samsung phones you can move most apps to the SD card as long as the developer allows it (for example you can not move Google apps)
Both Marshmallow and Nougat allow storage of apps to SD card but you have to enable as internal storage. As @Dunt said the sd card then becomes encrypted so will only work in your device. It's a personal decision on my PRIV have installed like this and no issue. Do recommend you use a high quality sd card class10 U3 for example Samsung PRO +. Fast and reliable card for apps and all your media. Careful with cheap price cards as lots of fakes out there. Good luck.
I m sorry but you are wrong. I am using the note edge with 6.0.1 and almost all my apps are installed in SD card. I haven't encrypted, nor have I enabled it as internal storage.

Samsung doesn't even have Adoptable Storage. You really can't use Samsung on much of anything as far as standardization goes. They do alot of things that is not 'stock android' .
Read the AC article to get the pro/cons of using Adoptable Storage. TLDR for most people its not a good option.

Curious! Did you ever get corruption issues where the app didn't start or crash altogether! Twice burned and had to do a full factory restore, no fun. So hence I usually keep apps within the rom of the device.
I m much happier with Samsung implementation than that of the adoptable storage. With Samsung 's implementation I can choose which apps I want to store to SD and which not (for example not to choose an app where performance is important for me). Also system files are not stored in the SD and so you have less danger for your operating system to become corrupted and to need a hardware reset. I can remove the SD card and my mobile works just fine, it s just the stored apps that are grayed out and on reinsertion they work just fine.
So to our original question. Which is the situation with Keyone. Can someone who has it check it please?

I like Samsungs approach as well, Google should incorporate an implementation of their own into stock. Adoptable Storage is not meant for higher end devices, its like pulling someone off the street to add to your elite track& field 4x100 relay team, it just drags everyone else down.
OP wanted to liberate memory on his device and move all to his card. Like I said it's a personal preference if you to enable card as shared storage. Android has options.
No one has answered Bezbozny's question. Can someone who has the Keyone answer this pls?

No, it cannot be done.
The Samsung method is an addition made by then.
Stock Android (and the key one is very close to stock) does not support doing that.
Neither do most devices out there. If that's a requirement for you, buy a Samsung device.
It may be possible on later android versions, but seeing as the main nexus and pixel series devices launch without SD card support, I wouldn't hold my breath.
It can be done. I have an LG V20 (with Nougat) and a couple apps allowed me to transfer it to my external SD card via the stock storage Android app. Some apps didn't present the option to transfer, but some did. It appears to be application specific or specific to the way the app was developed.
Correct. It's part of the OS re Nougat not OEM's Our friends at Android Central have threads on this subject.

Dear John,
It is possible in the present Nougat. You just have to enables developer options on the OS and under you will see the option. But the person has to be sure and very careful before trying this so as not to damage phone.
