I'm totally against installing the apps of the "big guys" which I know for sure that will use my data for their personal purposes, like ads. So does BlackBerry Hub offer that possibility?

    Thanks

    No.

But you can login with your browser and make a shortcut on your homescreen.
and if you turn off the notifications you will not end up as a Facebook zombie :-)

As stated above, no, but you could install Metal and have notifications sent to your associated email address in the Hub...or you have the option of notifications appearing in the notification shade (or both).

Theoretically speaking, can't I give BBH access to my FB account through a FB API? Though this might become tricky when synchronizing, but seems possible to me.

In anyway, seems like BBH is useless to me since having it for emails only is pointless. Hmmm extra memory, yey

I think it's the best email client out there for Android. Better than any other Exchange client or Gmail, that's for sure.
    NightFire and ridmaur like this.

yeah but it "eats" my memory. Before adding my email on BBH I had 1.6 out of 2.8GB. now having 1.9 - 2.0.
Maybe it's a coincidence, but so far these are my results.

Don't worry about that. Android manages memory by keeping it mostly full - otherwise it's wasted.
