I have a Blackberry Keyone about 8 months old. Love the keyboard, love the camera (takes great pictures). About a week ago I started having some issues with accessing files --it was just getting slow. Blackberry said I should install an additional media card. I had AT&T do that... now I'm having a slew of other issues (battery running down very quickly), my photos still seem to be on the phone (at least something is taking up a lot of memory space) but inaccessible, and the phone has started putting itself in and out of airplane mode unprompted. I contacted Blackberry again and they said I need to erase and reinstall my system. So far everytime I have taken their advice my problems seem to get a little worse. Can anyone recommend a Blackberry fix-it person in the SF Bay Area? I'd rather have someone with experience take care of this for me in person than waste another day IM-ing the Blackberry help desk. (Every time I ask a question the diagnosis seems to be different...)

I strongly doubt that there's a such thing as a BB repair specialist in the SF Bay Area - but it's an Android phone so any quality repair shop could likely help. You need to get your data off the device (which must be done using the phone's file manager and NOT with an external app, as the device storage is encrypted), and then the phone needs to be reflashed with an auto loader. If there's no hardware problem, then that should fix it. If there is a hardware problem, it's unlikely, given your description of the problem, that most phone shops will be able to diagnose it, much less repair it, as few places do board-level repair.

In that case, it's usually easier to replace the phone, but if you need board level repair, the only place I could recommend is in Manhattan, NYC. Rossmann Group.

If you're on AT&T 3/32 Space Black KEYone, storage memory @ 32GB is another possibility.

I'm sitting @ 94% storage capacity and experience some glitchiness.

For me, I'm using up storage with too many installed apps. The only solution is removing unused apps...
