After last update, mo more pop up notifications from calender..any clue? really annoying! TIA

You could try
Options + Notifications + Calendar
Adjust Importance starting from all the way on the right (most permissive).

--> To access the feature you have to head to the System UI (holding down the cog icon in the top right of the Notification tray). You should see the cog spin and then get a little wrench next to the cog.

You may have to then within the System UI settings, there is a tab labelled “Other”. Once clicked and opened, the settings list an option entitled “Show full importance settings”. Once this is toggled on, heading to any app under “Notifications” will display the new importance settings.

Same issue here.

It seems to me it stopped working after the AAV119 update which removed the pop-up notification option from the Calendar app.

Experienced the same problem with my motion but it was after the update to the calendar and not the February security update. There are comments in the play store about this under the blackberry calendar app.
