I ordered 2, from authorized resellers that were sold out for weeks. The first one arrived last week, the other one yesterday. Both had a boxing date of 020517, so clearly before the screen issue was "addressed". Means, either the producer or the distributor still ships potentially problematic units.
Of course I took none of the two.
Maybe you should name the reseller(s), since, if you didn't take the units, they'll still be considered new and sent elsewhere.

As for needing to special label whether units are fixed or not, it sure seems like people have a way to find out without BlackBerry Mobile doing anything...

I think that the glue's problem with some (or all?) units of the 1st batch is heat-related.
So, no big deal, reattach your sensor with a better glue,
and for the screen use the 3M adhesive tape.
Better go pre-emptive, btw, with the screen, to avoid cable tore disaster.
Done that on mine (mfg date May 2017), now no more fear.

So, did you gently pry up the screen to do the pre-emptive taping?

Not exactly, I've put the K1 in an oven at 50/55 C just to do a test on glue heat resistance, screen lifted, first try with generic glue no good, then 3M tape applied, now screen is ok.

P.S. after a month, battery is still completely ok,
I mean, no damage at all due to the 52 C medium temperature during the test.

Ah, yes, I remember you are the person who baked their KeyOne! (g)

    Good job.

I spoke to the store manager for Blueshop and I inquired whether the unlocked K1 I ordered would have the glass issue. Based on the fact that there were numerous delay deliveries to his store --- he even had customers cancel their orders due to the delays month after month --- he suspects that BB was fixing the glass issues before shipping these out to retailers. He actually just received his shipment a few days ago.

That's reassuring! I was wondering the same thing as the OP as I am contemplating getting a KEYone myself from Bell, but am hoping that they've already sold all the older units.

There was a substantial delay in delivery of these units from Blueshop. Apparently, whoever manufactures the KEYones, were fixing the pop out glass issue --- hence the delay in availability of these unlocked units.

So I tried a search and couldn't fine a specific date in which repairs on new models started. Is there a specific date or model # that we know is has addressed the screen lift issues?

same thing happened to me. i have the early edtion and i dropped mine in the road and only got some minor scuffs. that was about 3 weeks ago. few nights ago i was watching youtube and it just fell off. i stuck it back on myself since i have no warranty centres here and it works and looks fine now.

My first K1 was build 22/04/17 and the screen lifted in the bottom left corner.
The second K1 I've got after claiming my warranty at CPW was build 22/08/17, so happy days I think so .
By the way the build date is also printed on the sticker on the rear factory protector. So if seller let you open the box, you just check the back of the phone and you don't need to turn on the phone and use that code.
