I just realized that the BlackBerry Power Center app can change the resolution of selected apps/games of your choosing and you can limit its frame refresh to either 30 or 60 frames/sec.

What a GREAT feature!!! This app is like a more basic version of Samsung's Game Tuner app they debuted on their S8. Obviously the games/apps run much smoother (and saves more battery) on lower resolution and with the smaller screen on the KEYone, it is barely noticeable. 😉

I don't know why they aren't talking about this? As I only found this out by exploring the app on my own.

Lol. Duh! Just fired up my KEYone and there it is. My apologies. I've been traveling for the past week and I'm slightly BlackBerry delirious.

On my Aurora, Asphalt 8 Airborne only smooth framerate at 1280x720 on Medium setting. But with lowering resolution to 960x540 using Power Center, it can plays smooth at High setting. High setting is more valuable than higher resolution, where 540p is still native res on Aurora.
