Low signal happened in india handset as well? So that means there's hardware problem instead of software issue?

    It is a design defect.

icic.. Other than that, I did notice the aluminium frame seems not that rigid. When you put pressure between volume & convenient key, you can feels the surface slightly bend in.

So other than signal issue, any other issue with the India set? I'm interested and thinking to get one for myself

Wait till the manufacturing process starts in India. presently it's getting imported from China. Come next month it's getting manufactured in India. Hope they addresses these issues. Mine does take ages to charge. Thinking of returning the device.

I haven't had any issue with the signal so far. It's probably same or slightly better then my previous Sony phone. I'm using Vodafone.

But I’m seeing a major difference compared to my previous phone which was a Passport SE. Running Airtel.

Germany is part of EMEA, which is version 2, and the same as the UK showing below.
Version 2 or BBB100-2 is optimized for EMEA. That's all. He may be able to get coverage in Germany on a BBB100-1,-3, or -7 for that matter. Only non-GSM carriers IS it required you use a certain device.

My opinion, wait for 2 more months. Let's see if BlackBerry Mobile India takes some action.

I don't think so, they will come with any solution if it is design flaw.

I doubt this would be an issue in Canada, but given the restrictive practices of some US carriers, it could be an issue if they only allow certain specific model numbers on their network. While the Indian KEYone appears to be very similar to the BBB100-1 North American GSM version, it has a different model number (BBB100-6 or-7?).
Who cares about carriers any more? Mint Sim for, can't recall name but another out of Raleigh, NC which I've used also, and T-Mobile has bring your device which I've done a few years.

All carriers retain the ability to bring your own device. Some carriers don't provision the device you bring though. Therein lies the problem.

The number of times Google has accessed my phone's microphone in a day is just insane!!
And the Dtek app pinpoints the exact location and the duration of the activity. Which is quite useful and amazing how BlackBerry has integrated all of it together!
I don't understand what Google does with so much of information.
Ads possibly but still, it's just way too much of information!
