Going back to the original topic, anyone who ordered the Keyone for Rs. 21,000 still hopeful that we will get the device? I wonder if we can file some kind of complaint against this company who had advertised it.

I read from different thread that first batch of Keyone Black edition was manufactured by TCL. I guess by Sept, all the Keyone Black edition will be manufactured in India by Optiemus. My wishful self tells me maybe the Rs. 21,000 Keyone is cheap because Optiemus wants us to try out the Indian Keyone before the actual launch in Sept.
    Any chance?
    Not happening.

It looks like that could be False advertising?! It was just way too cheap to be considered real. Right away had my doubts.
    Hopefully nobody lost any money?!
Try contacting BlackBerry Mobile India and see what they say? pay the difference?
    Good luck

They were all COD orders so no question of losing money.

Thanks, but as a total knucklehead when it comes to stuff like this, those figures you mentioned don't make any sense to me. All I know that here where I live the T-Mobile network uses:

What does this say? Will that Indian device work in the EU with my provider?
Better would o/c be that they would just release it globally in stead of me finding a way to import it. I already fear all the hassle when and if the screen would pop on that imported version....
The way I've read it is that the Indian version has all the bands the EU version does and more so it will work.

As mentioned above, it was COD so i didn't lose anything but.. it's still annoying. I would love to find a way to punish them for getting me all excited.
I also emailed Optiemus at the time of order to confirm if it was their official distributor. I still haven't received any response yet.

I seriously doubt that there will be actual deliveries. It looks like a test page that was accidentally published. And I think 21,000 Rs was too good to be true anyway considering it has bigger specs than the silver. Plus I don't think Blackberry is aiming for the mass market with this one.

Not sure if they have any freight forwarding service for Amazon in India, like in the US. If so it would be nice. I've also searched for it but didn’t see any. Hopefully some members in India can help to find out.

Well, $326 instead of $549, but your point is valid. A real steal. Just wonder how many limited editions they will choose to sell.
It is $620 or ₹39,990. Posting from India.

Private Courier companies send a lot of goods through their staff as travelers to NA. Others like DHL, FEDEX, Blue Dart are expensive and don't carry mobile phones.

Had a chat with an Amazon rep. He says there is Redmi 4 sale too tomorrow. So only after that, the Keyone sale will begin.
