I think any future BlackBerry branded designs will come from a hardware company that is currently in the business of designing and building phones, such as TCL. As already mentioned, BlackBerry is clearly no longer in that business.

Who knows they may do that also , but in fact they have the rights to do everything in this market ,it's a new business for them ,maybe after a year or two they would actually design and sell the phones; just like Google after all these years now they have started to design and manufacture their own phones

Yes, and as a software company, BlackBerry would be involved with hardware designs initiated by other companies like TCL, providing assistance to ensure that BlackBerry's Android OS and BlackBerry's suite of apps are fully compatible with that hardware.
