Not likely since BlackBerry has a separate licensing deal with another company to make phones for the Indian market.
ohh...thank you. Sad it is. Had been waiting for more than a month :(
Just buy it outside if you are comfortable with having challenges with warranty

If you do, make sure the frequently bands on the model you buy work with the carrier you want to use in India.
I wonder if it will be available in Turkey. Alcatel is so why not.
Could you let me know the cost of keyone?
Z10 STL -2 ™

You could buy it from aus when tcl make it available here. India and aus are both on the asia pac bands.
We don't know the cost here yet, or it's availability date.
EBay sellers sells the devices that doesn't support Indian 4G bands(imported) . I want to buy one, but I don't know how to buy from other countries.

TCL hinted that they may sell devices to those other licensed distributors. Not sure how easy it will be for them to have a PKB phone made .
So there is hope...but it would be later at best.
Where did you get that info from..?

Optiemus Infracom (official license partner for BlackBerry in India) is 100% capable of manufacturing a PKB phone like the KEYone, since they have partnered with Wistron to manufacture BlackBerry phones for them. And btw, Wistron is selected by Apple to manufacture iPhones for the Indian market.
So now, only if Optiemus Infracom sees a demand in the Indian market for a PKB, they will make an effort to manufacture a phone like KEYone. And it all depends on us, the PKB maniacs to make sure Optiemus hears us and moves forward with the plan.
If this becomes a reality, it will definitely have a reasonable price tag and more over quality service availability.

It seem reasonable since TCL already makes lower cost phones and is already licensed by BlackBerry. I seem to recall hearing that TCL might be the supplier to BlackBerry Merah Putih in Indonesia.
If that happens, the end pricing will be a burden for the consumer.
And the Indian tax system is garbage. VAT kills us.
It's the reason even Apple went into local manufacturing to bring down the price so they can increase their market share.

The speculation was about TCL being the manufacturer of lower cost devices designed specifically for the Indonesian and Indian markets. It was not about the KeyOne.
Well I'm talking about our local manufacturer to up the game and bring in products like KEYone.
Not interested in lower cost phones, which we have in plenty.

40K is seriously dam expensive Man, Unhappy with pricing!!!

I think for us, the PKB enthusiasts the pricing is justifiable. Compared to other global market pricing standards.
Plus, we don't have any other option for a PKB phone..!!
