The K1 BE is an outstanding device. Depending on the condition, 180 CDN could be a great price, just be sure that you are getting PRD -39. If you are coming from a Classic, the performance of either phone will blow you away.

That is the PRD number for the Black Edition intended for North America. PRD-63116-039 to be precise.

As one can see, the Model BBB100-1 had many variants.

I bought one for $250 USD early this year and feel it’s good value at price. As stated price is good as long as -039 PRD hardware.

Great device, I fully recommend the KEYone BE.

    Skip the silver edition.

Are we talking about a new device or a used device?? If it's a new device, would you care to post the retailer?

One of the good things about the Key 1 is the 4 gigs of ram which allows the device to be a bit snappier over the longer term.

Either way, enjoy the device for hopefully a few years.

    Good luck!

I picked it up tonight and it's a great device. I don't think the guy actually knew the worth of the phone he said his company gave it to him and now they aren't using it. There isn't a scratch on thing it's in perfect condition can't believe I only paid 180 bux for this lol

Yeah I held the silver edition I don't like the feel of it. The BE looks better in my opinion and is much grippier

Lol the Black isn't gonna feel grippier than the Silver because they have the same exact build materials.
However I agree that the BE looks better, but it would have been perfect if it had the chrome frets of the SE.
It's possible to swap the keyboards out yourself to have that custom look, but honestly I've had dozens of KEYone's in my hand and the BE keyboards always felt nicer, like the key clickiness.
Maybe the later 2018 built SE models had equally good keyboards.

You just have to get lucky. If you go on eBay and Amazon the BE is still very pricey. Even on kijiji in Canada where I got it from people had it posted for 5-600

Amazon USA earlier this year when there was an over abundance of unsold -039 models I suppose. There’s a category of Amazon products sold under Amazon Deals which can be new, returns, used, overstock and damaged packaging.

Ditto! Same story. It's my daily driver. My wife is now using my Motion. If it's in good condition...that's a bargain!

Mine had been some off-description listed as new or like new (something distinguishing why in the deals section and not really ever used) and damaged packaging in the description.

When I got the phone, it was in new condition in non-damaged OEM packaging in OEM box. I considered awesome deal or simple mistake. Probably, as it’s been explained to me by some nearby Amazon distribution employees, if large case of electronics is damaged enough on the outside, it doesn’t go into the normal pull area but is segregated for inspection. Sometimes this can also be done to discount couple devices to jumpstart sales. Basically whatever it takes in order to move stale merchandise.
