Very strange , I remember that I have seen high consumption too from another member in a past post but a hard restart of the phone has fixed the issue.

I will monitor it over the next few days. Hopefully it settles down.
Hard reset of the phone. Hold down the power button for 32 seconds. Try that and report back.
Unable to reset the device. Held the power button for 32 seconds at the homescreen, phone reboots. Held the power button for 32 seconds while the device is off, the phone turns on. Held the power button for 32 seconds at the fastboot menu, the phone turns on.
Can't hard reset the device.
PS: I have already soft-resetted the device once. No improvement in battery.

Is it still showing the keyboard as the biggest user of battery?
uninstall keyboard updates, hard reset (32s power off), boot, update keyboard and restart. then see
I am not able to hard reset. How do I press the power button for 32 seconds and from where? If I press it from the screen, the phone just reboots. If I press it while it's off, the phone reboots. If I press it from the fastboot menu, it still reboots.
PS: I have done all what you have mentioned but with a soft reset. Did not help.
Try uninstalling the BlackBerry Keyboard app and then reinstalling from the Play Store.
Have already tried doing this. Even the base variant of the keyboard app (without any incremental updates) is hogging a lot of battery. Can't uninstall the app completely. I have tried to disable the app but that disables a lot of features of the physical keyboard as well.
Anyone facing the same problem, I have a fix: Do not grant the keyboard app access to your contacts. It's weird but works. If you grant the keyboard access to your contacts, the battery drains out very very quickly. Hope this helps someone.

I will try this. I actually think I remember when I started to notice the keyboard battery drain.... it's when I removed my LinkedIn account and re-added it. I have over 5000 LinkedIn contacts so it took quite some time for the contacts to sync.
Maybe is has to do with the number of contacts and the keyboard constantly needs to sync them for prediction purposes?
This is when I started to notice the battery drain....... I will report back if this works.
