it might fix itself! I had a problem of events not appearing for several minutes or not at all. but now it's OK. might be related to an update. I never really understand what happened!
Maybe it only for those of our same moniker
Any other more proactive ideas beyond faith ?

I made multiple attempts to enter a new appointment in BlackBerry Calendar app. those entries don't appear when I return to that date. I went into Google Calendar on the web and all the attempts carried over immediately... what to do?
OK... I Uninstaller back to stock, unchecked gmail accounts, closed ＆ reopened calendar, checked default gmail account, ＆ voilà now entries are saved in BlackBerry calendar ...what caused that?
There's a glitch somewhere, but beats me. At least it's working again!

Check your sync options. If you're syncing your Calendar(s) for a shorter time period than the difference from now until the event then it won't remain on your phone.
At least that's what I'd think.
