For the select few that have gotten their hands on a limited edition KEYone, have you noticed any improvement in cell reception? My only gripe with my KEYone has been signal strength in larger buildings. I'm currently typing this at my university and I have 0 bars, so it got me thinking.

Because this is specific to the black KEYone which is barely available in North America..

No, the black edition has exactly the same antennagate problem as the orig.

Thats unfortunate. On my new att branded phone - I have people on the other end telling me that they cant hear anything for the first 5-10 seconds of the initial call.

Software problem?

I bought the black edition yesterday and found the reception is vastly improved. with the silver version I could not use my phone while lying down. No problems with the black.

I think OP is referring to the Black 4GB variant. We already know the Black AT&T version has problems.

I know a lot of folks are having reception issues but speaking of the AT&T version I can honestly say I don't have those issues. Yes, the signal indicator is lower than it was on my AT&T classic and it indeed varies based on how I hold it in my hand but I have never dropped a call and the call clarity is just fine.
