I received the KEYone that I won at the Toronto Launch Party today and was happy to see that they included the Tumi wallet case that was sent out to all tech bloggers! It's a pretty classy looking case that doesn't add too much bulk. Let the case collecting begin!

For your Seidio fans out there - I emailed them today asking if they would have K1 products and they said Yes, expected in July. I've been a Seidio fan on my BB's for a while and will use one on K1 if they become available.

I went to my local Rogers store and picked up the clear bumper they had in stock for $25. Will hold me over until I get the official BB dual layer I have pre-ordered here. I was going to pull the trigger on the Incipio site on what appears to be the exact same case as the BB one, but decided I want the BB logo on it

Here is hoping it doesn't take months for the pre-order to be filled, fingers crossed.

KEYone pocket sleeve case
On the picture, it clearly shows that a portion of the KEYone's screen is accessible. My question does that mean the actual screen is exposed or is there some sort of plastic that covers it? Cause considering the price I'd rather go with the leather Noreve Case. Or the cheaper PRIV.

I think it most likely works as the smart-flip case I use on my DTEK50. It's awesome. You can even see and read your notifications without opening the full screen (the full screen transitions automatically to the small one and vice versa when you close the cover). You do only use that small part of the screen. The whole screen does not light up. I guess that's why they call them 'smart cases'. They really are. I love the smart-flip case on my DTEK50, but I will probably get the dual layered one for the K1.

Oh, and yes, the actual screen is exposed.

Thank you for your informative response. I'm having second thoughts about having the screen exposed like that. I tend to drop my phones. I'll think it over. And upon checking the Pouch for KEYone, no power saving feature. Might go with Incipo NGP or BB priv sleeve instead. Or maybe the Noreve or Vaja case.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned...but i purchased the dual layer blackberry case. The sides do NOT extend from the screen. Therefore if placed facedown, the surface WILL be in contact with screen. Kinda upset about it actually since screen protectors have been hard to find
