Hey troop!

My phone before Keyone was HTC M8. I could easily make whatsapp offline on HTC when I was online bu didn't want to receive messages. I go to apps section through settings and tap on whatsapp. There're 2 options: Disabled and Force stop. Force stop doesn't work for this, so Disabled option was life saver for me. But unfortunately on Keyone there isn't disabled option. Only Force stop and uninstall.

Any recommendations? It's VERY important for me.

You can read pending messages with third party apps without opening Whatsapp. Going online while keeping an offline status to others is something I never heard about. Probably not possible on the KEYone.

Whatsapp is the most widely used application and there are times when you want to avoid business-related colleagues while you are talking to your friends and vice versa. But is it possible to be shown as offline while you are online, talking to someone? Well with technology evolving, nearly everything is possible all you need to know are a few tricks and tips
The other method is to go offline by just changing a few settings.

For Android devices:
Enter the settings menu and from there tap on the option of "Whatsapp"
From here disable the options of Mobile Data and Background App Refresh
Lastly, remove WhatsApp from recent apps
iPhone does not permit users to disable wifi therefore you have to manually deactivate Wi-Fi to get offline and make this method work for you. You can still use other applications through Mobile data.
