    BBM is using about 8% battery out of each charge with very limited usage. What are you guys getting?

    0% with very limited usage, though, not fair to say zero usage as one would think by the %.

    What the heck. How could mine be eating up 8% then? I use it maybe 15 times a day max. I even subscribed to no ads.

    It really depends on how much you use it really or how long you keep the app running in the background. after awhile if you use it constantly it will start to use your battery power a bit

    I guess it must be what it is. I use it literally 15 to 30 minutes in a day and close the App when not in use.

    What do some of the other messaging apps use over the course of a day? BBM seems heavy.

    Maybe 4 pct. And I use it a LOT (whatsapp). My bbm is never high but only msg a few people on it

    Thanks for the benchmark. Seems crazy to run bbm for just a couple of ppl. Maybe I'll remove it from the hub to see if that has something that do with the drain
