Quick question can I use a Keyone BBB 100-3 on Telus. I'm in Calgary but not sure what frequencies are important here.

That is a CDMA device made specifically for Verizon in the States.

You will be able to get some coverage, but it's not ideal. You should be looking for a BBB100-1.

Conite, will the AT&T Keyone Black Edition work on Telus/Calgary? As far as I can tell AT&T is a GSM carrier so their Black Keyone should be a BBB100-1.

Should be no problem. Telus was the only other retailer that actually sold the Space Black as well.

Telus also sell the Key2 Black Edition for $870 - its very tempting. Is there any difference between the 32GB Black and Silver editions? BBB100-1. I was playing around with the LE at Staples, best keyboard yet, better than by Classic and old Bold 9900. The LE sells at Staples for $399 but I want some kind of track pad even if the keyboard doubles as one

Space Black and Silver are identical (both 3/32).

I'd still try for a 4GB KEYᵒⁿᵉ, or preferably a KEY² LE.

Yes the two keyones I'm looking at are 3/32, I didn't know there was a 4GB keyone. The thing is I just need a keyboard to bang out emails and texts, so the 3/32 should be more than enough (with some track pad capability in the keybaord, so LE won't do) although I'll look for 4GB keyone. Its time to move on to something up to date that runs the apps I need.

All Black Edition (not Space Black) and Bronze Edition KEYᵒⁿᵉ devices are 4GB.

There's a vendor in yyc selling the black/bronze edition for $379 (4/64 BBB100-5/7 dual sim) on kijiji - very interesting will look for these devices on ebay, seems to be where you can find the best prices. Some good prices south of the border for at&t black 3/32s but would like to keep money spent in Canada so will likely pickup a silver edition out of TO.
