Hey all,

I ordered a BB100-02 from Selfridges and popped in my Verizon SIM. After setting preferred network to LTE/CDMA it seems to work pretty flawlessly. VOLTE enabling took some manual effort to get working but download anycut or the secret codes app from play store to tick whatever you need for VOLTE Provisioning. Make sure you get the My Verizon app as well and you should be ok in LTE areas....Just thought I'd share.

This is very interesting, especially for us VZW folks who know it usually takes an eternity for Verizon to drop any new BlackBery...officially, I mean.

Just wondering this shows connected to the LTE network how are you faring in areas where it would be 3G CDMA coverage? I live in a rural area where LTE coverage is fairly good but certain spots drops to 3G coverage. Also have you been successful with WiFi calling on Verizon with this model?

Does WiFi calling work? HD voice? WiFi calling is something I have to have due to the signal or lack of it in both of my places of employment. Would require that HD voice works in order for WiFi calling to work. The lack of it would make the keyone a non starter for me.

You aren't likely to get wifi calling until Verizon sells it. At&t and Verizon don't like to enable it on phones they don't sell.

HD Voice yes so far... Wifi Calling I'm working on i'll let you know shortly.

Doubt there is any way I would get signal with no CDMA band capabilities...Somebody smarter than me may be able to elaborate but I will check when possible.

Haha good question. I have a 14 day return policy from Selfridges I believe? So if more news before then most likely strategy is return and replace with CDMA capabilities...TBD lol

Interestingly in the engineering mode settings there is a root toggle on/off that does flip...with the toast indicating the need to wait for the next software udpate. I'm sure some generic message indicating it does nothing but interesting nonetheless.

1. Apply HD voice on your account on the VZW site. If that doesn't work, you can add it via the app.
2. Dial *#*#4636#*#* and make sure the "VOLTE Provisioning box is checked". Then go into settings, advanced calling, and hd voice is checked. If that doesn't work then God only knows.

Worst case you could set up a google voice account/SIP account to forward calls to VOLTE SIP calling account. If you want to try that I can provide a little help.

You should get an update already for UK. BBB100-2 is on AAK879 at the moment
