I wonder if it is true that the battery life is better after Oreo update as claimed by so many users.. I don't really see the difference since updated 2 weeks ago..

also, why is the power centre keeps optimising battery use? if I recalled correctly, it was optimised during nougat.. correct me if I am wrong..

I haven't noticed any improvement. I wouldn't say it's really any noticeable difference in my day to day usage.

do you think the update takes some time to settle down? sometimes it seems like the battery life is getting worse..

the sot is worse.. 4hrs sot and my battery is down to 40%..

what do you think? is it normal?

eh. I've had the update for awhile with no real difference. For me it was a fair trade off as I felt things got a little snappier but, for me at least, battery life wasn't any different.
