Try the Content Transfer app. It worked for a Classic to a Priv.

Depending on your email provider you might just be able to sync. I.E. Google, Yahoo or Outlook. Calendar similarly.


As suggested Content Transfer can work for some types of data but it only moves either 2,500 or 3,500 text messages. Folks have used 3rd party app.

There's one in each store so you install on both phones.

I don't recall all of the details. It can move some text messages up to a limit. It can also move Remember Notes to the Notes app. I think it might be able to move photos but I do that kind of thing manually.

It can use the cloud or transfer via sd card, if I recall.

Content transfer works sometimes, and doesn't other times... And when it works, it only works for a certain number of texts. I used an app on BB10 that converted my texts to XML format, then I used an Android app called SMS Backup and Restore by Carbonite to restore that XML to texts. Worked fine on my 35,000+ texts.

With email, you simply add the account and choose to sync emails, and make sure to select "Forever" for the timeline to sync...

That one works for me,.. SMS only, not call logs.
