    Just noticed in a dark room the keys are brighter on the right and left slides e.g. w,s,z and o,l,$ are brighter than the keys between them. Anyone else notice this?

    I think every BlackBerry I own is that way out of the box.

    People in the German K1 waiting room thread mentioned this a few weeks ago. I then noticed the middle keys on my AT&T Passport are dimmer. Never noticed before after two years of daily use.

    Yes the difference in brightness between center and side keys is > on my K1 than on my Classic.
